由 湖北省机械工程学会、武汉•中国光谷激光行业协会、武汉市塑料行业商会、武汉新城国际博览中心经营管理有限公司、重庆立嘉会议展览有限公司、武汉华嘉会议 展览有限公司共同合作主办，湖北三环成套贸易公司、武汉迅通机电有限公司等单位协办的：首届武汉国际机床展览会、塑料橡胶及包装工业展览会暨，于2012 年6月25-28日，在武汉国际博览中心成功举办。总面积达15000平米，参展商315家，展位600余个。现场各类大型实物开机演示设备300余台， 各类工夹量具零部件近万件。

为期四天的展会共吸引专业观众4216人，参观单位主要来自武汉、十堰、襄阳、荆州、随州等地，其中组团参观人数在30人以上的如：东风商用汽车、富士康、武钢、神龙汽车、石油第四机械厂、三环铸造、全力机械等；据不完全统计现场成交额超过叁仟万元；

由 中国国际贸易促进委员会湖北省分会、湖北省机械工程学会、武汉﹒中国光谷激光行业协会、武汉新城国际博览中心经营管理有限公司、重庆市立嘉会议展览有限公 司、武汉华嘉会议展览有限公司联合主办的“第二届武汉国际机床展览会”定于2013年3月18-21日举行，有了第一届展会成功举办的基础，总结各种经 验，随着市场的好转，加上各方及社会各届的大力支持，预计本届展会将有600余家海内外知名企业500台设备展示，3大展馆展出面积30000平方米，国 际展区将达到25%，近1500个标准展位，预计展会有效专业观众15000-20000人。
